Ilina Koralova (b. 1974 in Sofia) is an art historian and works as a freelance curator and project manager as well as a visiting lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Leipzig. She studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia, where she graduated with an MA.
On behalf of IFA (Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations), Stuttgart (Germany), she worked as a project manager for the German Pavilion at the 56 Biennale di Venezia 2015. In 2012 and 2013 she held the position of project coordinator and programme curator for the transnational project Europe (to the power of) n, a series of exhibitions in seven European countries and China organised by the Goethe Institute London. She was a curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Leipzig (GfZK) between 2002 and 2012.
Apart of the exhibitions curated while being a curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art Leipzig, Koralova has organised international exhibitions presented in Sofia and Plovdiv (Bulgaria), Dresden, Augsburg, Munich (Germany), Graz (Austria), Slovenj Gradec (Slovenia), Lyon (France).
